Dorothy Davis-Hutto

Currently, Dorothy is the Director of Visiting Nurse/Hospice Atlanta Care Management Division where she manages a 6.5 million budget. She is responsible for administering the Medicare Waiver Programs through Community Care and SOURCE Partner’s Atlanta. The Division comprises over 60 social workers and 15 Nurses, and serves over 4500 elderly and disabled clients in the 10 county Metro area. She serves of the Aging and Disabled Committee at Atlanta Regional Commissions Area Agency on Aging. In 2000, prior to joining Visiting Nurse, Dorothy assisted in starting Enhanced Housing Services. Her interest came from a commitment to supportive services, and a family business in managing elderly and chronically mentally ill housing properties in South Carolina. Her goal has been to work to bring more effective coordination and communication between owners and managers. Enhanced Housing Services provided services to residents in nine states and covers over 4,000 units of subsidized housing. Dorothy Davis has been a licensed professional counselor in the state of Georgia for twelve years and has 20 years of behavioral health experience and geriatric case management. Dorothy graduated from Winthrop University with a Bachelor of Administration degree in English and a Masters Degree in Developmental Psychology from Vanderbilt University.
